Public Holiday Waste Collection Services 2017/18

Christmas Day and New Year's Day.

There will be no bin collections on Christmas Day and New Years Day.

Collections during the period of Monday 25 December 2017 to Friday 5 January 2018 will take place one day later than usual.

For example, if your collection day is Monday, bin/s will be collected on Tuesday. Tuesday collections will take place on Wednesday, Wednesday on Thursday, Thursday on Friday, and Friday on Saturday.  Collections will return to the usual schedule on 8 January 2018.

Good Friday

There will be no bin collections on Good Friday, 30 March 2018.

If your normal bin day is a Friday, your bins will be collected Saturday 31 March 2018. Collections will return to the usual schedule on 2 May 2018.

On all other public holidays, bins are collected as per normal collection days.

Greenwaste Verge Collections

Collection dates beyond June 2018 for the next Financial Years Verge collections will be approximately 9.5 months after your previous collection.  Dates will only be updated once final approval has been given, this is estimated to be Late May to June each year.

What's my bin day?

Your garbage (red lid) bin is wheeled out every week

Your recycling (yellow lid) bin is wheeled out every second week

Your garden organics (green lid) bin is wheeled out every alternate week to yellow bin



Do you have difficulty putting your bin out?

The City of Stirling can provide assistance to frail aged people and people with disabilities that have difficulty manoeuvring a wheelie bin to the verge and have no-one else at home to assist for weekly collection.
