Creche at Stirling Leisure Centres - Terry Tyzack Aquatic Centre

Stirling Leisure Centres - Terry Tyzack Aquatic Centre creche facilities are available Monday to Sunday for children between eight weeks and five years of age.

Our friendly staff will ensure your children are entertained and well looked after while you enjoy a workout in our gym, go for a swim or attend a group fitness class.

All children must be immunised and can attend for a maximum of one hour and 30 minutes.

If you need to cancel your creche booking, please phone (08) 9205 7728 at least two hours prior to your booked session commencing or before 8.00am on the day of your booking. 

Non-member creche entry is $6.50 per child.

Terms and conditions

  • Please notify us of anything we need to be aware of or any special conditions your child may have
  • The maximum time your child can be left in the creche is one hour 30 minutes
  • Parent/guardian must remain within the centre while your child is in the creche – you will be asked to sign your child in and out on the Creche Register
  • Children will only be discharged to the person signing them in, unless prior arrangement has been made with the Creche Attendant and written authorisation is given. Only persons 18 years of age and over can collect a child
  • Immunisation statement must be sighted when handing in forms
  • In order to prevent cross infection, sick children will not be admitted. Please do not bring your child into the creche if they have diarrhoea, a cold, virus, flu, cold sores, a rash, conjunctivitis, vomiting, school sores, fever, lice or chicken pox
  • Please mark all items brought into the creche with your child’s name
  • If your child experiences significant distress or engages in rough play that may put other children at risk, our creche staff will contact you to return and attend to them. Our priority is to provide a safe and nurturing environment for all children in our care.
  • Bottles of milk must be prepared prior to your child’s admittance
  • Solid food is not permitted in the creche; if your child requires feeding please ensure this is done prior to attending the creche
  • Strictly no peanut or nut products or any foods containing traces of nuts or whole eggs
  • What to bring to the creche:
    • Drink (preferably water or milk)
    • Nappies and change of clothes, nappy wipes, tissues etc.
    • Pram or stroller for all children under two years of age
    • A hat and sunscreen for sunny days
    • Fruit or nutritious snack if required (no nuts, whole eggs or small food items that may cause choking).

Creche information

Creche is available for children 8 weeks to 5 years and is included in all memberships.

Our aim is to provide a safe, caring and stimulating environment for the children of patrons using the centre facilities. To help us achieve our aims, and ensure a high standard of care and security is provided, we ask you to observe the following guidelines.

  • Parent/guardian must remain within the centre while your child is in the creche - you must sign your child in and out on the Creche Register
  • Maximum one hour 30 minutes stay
  • Members must include their membership numbers on the booking sheet
  • Immunisation statement must be sighted when handing in forms
  • Children will only be discharged to the person signing them in, unless prior arrangement has been made with the Creche Attendant and written authorisation is given. Only persons 18 years of age and over can collect a child
  • In order to prevent cross infection, sick children will not be admitted. Please do not bring your child into the creche if they have diarrhoea, a cold, virus, flu, runny nose or any other symptoms of being unwell
  • Please mark all belongings that are brought to the creche with your child’s name
  • If your child becomes overly distressed while in the creche, you may be contacted to return and attend to them
  • No peanut or nut products or any foods containing traces of nuts or whole eggs to be brought into the creche as snacks
  • Due to limited time please ensure your child has eaten prior to attending
  • Prams or strollers MUST be supplied for all children under two years, as well as nappies and wipes.
