Paw-some Day Out is the City’s largest dog-friendly event, with over 50 stallholders showcasing the latest pet products and services, along with plenty of food and drinks and activities for pet owners to enjoy. Paw-some Day Out helps promote responsible dog ownership and increases animal education in the community. Dog owners can have their pets registered or microchipped for free on the day.

Mirrabooka NAIDOC week

Mirrabooka Celebrating NAIDOC

NAIDOC Week celebrations are held across Australia each July to celebrate the history, culture and achievements of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples. This year's theme “Heal Country”calls for all of us to continue to seek greater protections for our lands, our waters, our sacred sites and our cultural heritage from exploitation, desecration, and destruction.

Come along and join in our cultural celebration at the Mirrabooka NAIDOC event on Thursday 18 November from 3:00pm to 7:00pm at Mirrabooka Regional Open Space. This free community event offers hot food and drinks, live entertainment and children’s activities including bouncy castles, virtual pods, petting zoos and more!  The main stage will showcase local bands and dance presentations celebrating both Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Culture and Youth.

Presented by the Mirrabooka NAIDOC Committee and proudly supported by the City of Stirling.

Please note that this event was rescheduled from Monday 5 July 2021 due to the COVID lockdown.
