This section provides information on subdivision of land and rezoning for both residential and commercial/industrial areas in the City of Stirling.

Subdivision

Subdivision is the 'cutting up' of land into new lots.

All subdivision of land in Western Australia is controlled by the Western Australian Planning Commission.

The City of Stirling has the authority to set the minimum lot sizes for industrial, commercial and residential zones within its boundaries.
 
In industrial zones, the minimum lot sizes are:

  • Osborne Park Industrial Area—2000 m²
  • Balcatta Special Garden Industrial Area—3000 m².

In commercial zones, there are no set minimum lot sizes.
