The State Register of Heritage Places is a list of places given protection under the Heritage of Western Australia Act 1990.

The State Register of Heritage Places is a statutory list of places that have been assessed by the Heritage Council of WA and are considered to have cultural heritage significance for Western Australia.

Registration follows a process of identification, assessment and consultation and includes:

  • Buildings and structures
  • Gardens
  • Cemeteries
  • Archaeological sites.

A list of properties on the State Heritage Register that are located within the City of Stirling can be found on the Heritage Council website. Simply select 'State Heritage Register' and select the 'inHerit: Search Heritage Places' link on the left hand side of the page and in the 'Search Heritage Places' type Stirling in the 'LG Contains' field.
