Get on Board

This program will engage local volunteers to assist over 55's one-on-one, to learn how to use the public transport system which increasingly relies on new technology or improved digital literacy to access a timetable, understand pricing, buy a ticket and work out a suitable route from home to destination.

In June 2017 the City of Joondalup in partnership with the Cities of Stirling and Wanneroo, received funding from the Age-Friendly Communities Innovation and Implementation Grants Program through the Department of Communities, to implement the Get on Board Program.
