If you or someone you know is making your community a more sustainable place to live work or study, we want to hear from you!

Nominations are now open, and no initiative is too big or too small. Applicants from all ages are encouraged as groups, individuals, schools, businesses, organisations and community groups.

 Verge Grass Replacement Rebate

A limited number of rebates to the value of $250 will be made available to residents replacing irrigated grass on their verge with new native Waterwise gardens. To secure your rebate, please submit an aplication form and 'before' photo prior to commencing grass removal. The rebate will be paid on the completion of landscaping and is subject to claim form and 'after' photo being supplied.

​Home Sustainability Audit

Receive a free 90 minute home energy and water audit with personalised action plan. The audit will help you to understand and reduce your electricity, gas and water usage. Audits will be conducted from November 2017 to May 2018 unless all audits are allocated earlier.

 Following your registration, the auditor will contact you directly within one month to arrange a convenient time for the audit.

 This offer is available to both tenants and homeowners residing in the City of Stirling.

Waterwise irrigation workshop

Ensuring you are watering to best suit the needs of your garden and lawn, without wasting water, can result in big savings. The workshop is presented by a South West Metropolitan TAFE horticulture professional and covers hydrozoning, how to set your irrigation controller and how long for, testing your irrigation system and checking for leaks.
