Please be advised the City is not the decision-maker for this application and the application will instead be determined by the Metro Inner Development Assessment Panel (DAP). The City’s role is to provide a recommendation to the DAP through a Responsible Authority Report. As part of preparing the City’s Responsible Authority Report to the DAP, the City is seeking your comments on the proposal. Any comments will be included within the Responsible Authority Report to ensure that the community’s views have the opportunity to form part of the DAP’s consideration of the proposal. Information regarding the DAP process can be found on the DAP website.

You are invited to comment on this proposal on or before 5.00pm, Tuesday, 16 September 2025. Please ensure you quote reference DA25/0883 on any submission. Late submissions will unfortunately not be able to form part of the City’s Responsible Authority Report to the DAP. 

A summary of the proposed development is provided below:

  • The construction of twenty-two Multiple Dwellings across two buildings located at 38 Geneff Street and 59 Hertha Road respectively with associated car parking, landscaping, and amenities
  • Proposed one three storey building with nine dwellings facing Geneff Street and one four storey building with 13 dwellings facing Hertha Road
  • Vehicle access from Geneff Street, with access to the ground floor parking area with total of 35 parking bays including five visitor parking bays provided for the development
  • Pedestrian access from Geneff Street and Hertha Road for the respective buildings.
