Whether you're a complete beginner or a seasoned “sewist,” this session is your chance to learn the art of visible mending—a beautiful way to repair, personalise, and extend the life of your garments.
About the Facilitator
Elise, founder of Hoop Hoop Hooray, began her embroidery journey over 8 years ago, driven by a passion for stitching and a desire to share it with others. With a background in education, she brings warmth, patience, and a wealth of experience to every workshop. Elise has led countless embroidery and visible mending sessions across Perth, helping to build a community that values creativity and conscious consumption.

As part of the growing sustainability movement, visible mending is more than just repair—it’s a statement. Elise’s mission is to normalise mending and inspire others to keep textiles out of landfill while celebrating the stories our clothes carry.
