Bridging the Knowledge Gap

To help celebrate NAIDOC Week, The City of Stirling invites you to take part in a unique learning experience aimed at deepening your understanding of Aboriginal culture and perspectives.

Delivered by a local Aboriginal leader, this engaging workshop is designed to help you improve your awareness of Aboriginal customs, history, and values while equipping you with practical skills to foster positive relationships built on respect and meaningful engagement.

Why attend?

  • Gain insights into Aboriginal cultural traditions and historical influences

  • Strengthen your ability to communicate and engage with Aboriginal peoples respectfully

  • Learn about unconscious bias, kinship structures, and the importance of self-determination

  • Explore ways to apply cultural awareness in both personal and professional settings

Through interactive discussions, self-reflection activities, and guided learning, you will develop confidence in bridging cultural differences and creating lasting change through understanding and empathy.

Join us as we build deeper connections and work towards reconciliation. Be part of a workshop that fosters respect, trust, and inclusivity while strengthening community and workplace relationships.
