The Perth Eid Festival commemorates the biggest day of the Islamic calendar and will provide the people of Perth with the opportunity to immerse themselves in different cultures from all over the world. Australia is a beautiful country filled with diverse groups from various ethnic, cultural and religious backgrounds and this festival not only hopes to celebrate Eid but also to pay homage to the diversity and multiculturalism that is a core part of our society.

As the biggest Eid Festival in WA the Furqan Islamic Association expects thousands of patrons from all over WA. The festival coincides with one of the festive holidays of the Muslim faith referred to as 'Eid' which literally means to "celebrate", and the event organisers hope to do just that. With features such as amusement rides, games, face painting, henna tattooing, multicultural food, arts and performances, and a spectacular fireworks show to bring the day to a close.

This is a FREE event and all are welcome - it is sure to be a fantastic fun-filled day for the entire family!
