Public notices give our residents, local businesses and customers an opportunity to provide feedback and enquire about the matters at hand.

Notice of Proposal to Dispose of Property

The City of Stirling hereby gives notice in accordance with Section 3.58 of the Local Government Act 1995 of the proposed disposal of property by sale as described below.

Property: 58B Virgil Avenue, Yokine – Lot 612 Deposited Plan 428909 being the whole of the land in Certificate of Title Volume 4088 Folio 676

Vendor: City of Stirling

Purchaser: Kyle James Carr and Jade Carr

Consideration: $835,000 including GST (if applicable)

Market value: $785,000 including GST (if applicable) as undertaken by an independent Licenced Valuer on 18 February 2026.

Submissions in respect of the proposed disposal of property are to be made to the Chief Executive Officer before 5.00pm, Tuesday 23 June 2026. Submissions should be in writing and marked “Submission: 58B Virgil Avenue, Yokine”.

Notice of Proposed Differential Rates

In accordance with Section 6.36 of the Local Government Act 1995, the City of Stirling gives notice of the intention to implement differential rates. The proposed differential and minimum rates can be found in the below table.

A statement of the objectives and reasons for the proposed Differential Rates can be viewed at the City’s Administration Centre, 25 Cedric Street, Stirling WA 6021, between the hours of 8.30am and 5.00pm Monday to Friday, or on the City’s website at www.stirling.wa.gov.au/differentialrates

Electors and ratepayers are invited to make submissions in respect of the proposed rates, minimum payments, or any other related matters. Submissions can be made in writing to the Chief Executive Officer, City of Stirling, 25 Cedric Street, Stirling WA 6021 or via email to rates@stirling.wa.gov.au and must be received no later than 4.00pm, Tuesday 30 June 2026 to be considered.
