Volunteering
Dogs currently Impounded
Volunteering
We welcome members of the public to volunteer at our Animal Care Facility. Duties include cleaning of the kennels, walking and bathing dogs, cleaning of our waiting area and pet funeral lounge and basic admin duties. If you are interested in volunteering, please give our Volunteer Coordinator a call on 9345 8555.
Impounded Dogs
Dogs found wandering by the City's rangers may be impounded at the Animal Care Facility. Once impounded we will try to contact the dog's owner if possible. If your dog is impounded you should contact the Animal Care Facility as soon as possible to arrange pick up. Dogs can be collected during opening hours only. Poundage and sustenance fees are payable and these fees must be paid before your dog will be released.

Register of dogs
The City of Stirling has made this register available to assist residents who have had their dog picked up by our rangers and to provide anyone wishing to rehome a dog a means of previewing which animals are available.
The register is updated every working day.
Remember: IF YOU DO NOT REGISTER YOUR DOG, YOU PUT IT AT RISK! (and break the law).
