This Committee promotes improvements in accessibility for disabled persons including, but not limited to, documents, buildings, parks, transport, street landscaping and pathways. The Committee also promotes programmes and activities for disabled persons. 

The Committee also considers matters, relating to disabled persons, raised by Council, Committee Members or the community.
