The Infrastructure and Community Development Committee meets at 7.30pm on the fourth Tuesday of the month and deals with items from the Infrastructure Management Directorate and Community Development Directorates of the City. The nature of reports presented to this Committee covers Waste Management, Engineering Design, Engineering Operations, Recreation and Leisure Services, Library Services, Transport and City Building Operations. The Committee makes a recommendation to be considered at the next Council meeting.
The Infrastructure and Community Development Committee consists of 7 members being 1 Councillor from each Ward. Each member has an appointed deputy and second deputy to act in their place should they be absent. The Director concerned and other senior members of the Business Unity may attend according to the business to be discussed.
All Committee meetings are open to the public and the doors are opened 15 minutes prior to the commencement of the meeting.
