Council approval is required for all home-based businesses and depending on the nature and size of the business, this approval may be informal or formal. The home based business online application has been developed by the City of Stirling to assist small business and other users in applying for a certificate to operate a business from home. To apply online you will need a valid email address as well as an ABN.  Apply online to operate a business at home. The home based business application has been developed by the City of Stirling with assistance through AusIndustry's Regulation Reduction Incentive Fund (RRIF).
