Methods of Payment
The City of Stirling offers several options for customers to pay their accounts (rates, homecare payments, etc). Should payment not be received for an instalment by the relevant due date, interest will accrue on a daily basis.
Internet:
Please note that Bill Express is now under administration and can no longer process City of Stirling payments. The City is working to establish a new online payment facility and this should be available on Monday 28th July 2008. If you wish to arrange payment of your account prior to that date, please telephone 9345 8555 or use one of the City's other payment options.
By Post:
Cheques should be written for the exact amount and made payable to the City of Stirling, PO Box 1533, Osborne Park WA 6916. Please allow a few days for mail payments to reach the Council. Receipts are not issued unless requested.
In Person:
You can pay an account at the City of Stirling Administration Centre, 25 Cedric Street, Stirling (8:30am – 5:00pm Monday to Friday). Payment can be made by cash, cheque or EFTPOS (debit cards limit of $1,000 per transaction or credit card limit of $10,000.00). Acceptable cards: Mastercard or Visa.
Australia Post:
You can pay your accounts in person at any Australia Post outlet by cash, cheque or debit card.
BPAY:
Financial institutions registered with BPAY may accept payment from your cheque, savings or credit card account. Quote our BILLER CODE 5231 and the Payment Number shown on the top righthand corner of the front of your notice.
Telephone:
To pay an account using your credit card, telephone the Customer Service Centre on (08) 9345 8555. Please note the Credit Card transaction limit is $10,000 per day. Acceptable cards: Mastercard or Visa.
