Forget the economic blues, the global outlook and the doom and gloom, it’s time to turn back the clock and party! If you’re a fan of 50’s and 60’s style rockin’ music. Whether you like to dance or just soak it up Retro Rock is a great way to kick off the 2010 Summerset Festival! Retro Rock is a concert featuring all things rock n roll. This year’s line up is set to get you rockin, dancin’ and singin all night long. Retro Rock will take you back to the days of the Snack Pit, the widgies and bodgies with the best hits of the 50’s and 60’s with a great line up, classic car displays and dance demonstrations. Last year we brought back Retro Rock with a fabulous line up with a special performance from Brisbane-based rock legend, Normie Rowe which wowed the audience with surprise special performance by Andy Anderson. It was a night to remember and this year’s line up is looking even better! Kickin off this year’s fantastic line up is Debbie Gamble, rock n roll hall of fame winner Billy Blaine and the Dynamics and the rockabilly greats The Continentals. The star of the show this year is Jim Keays from Masters Apprentices.
