Love Your Local History Picnic in the Park
Date:  Sunday, 31st January 2010
Time: 10am to 4pm
Venue: Mount Flora Museum and Laurie Strutt Reserve, Elvire Street Watermans Bay

Celebrate our local history through story-telling, dramatic re-enactments and museum tours. Take the opportunity to share your history by bringing along a treasured family object, photo or memory. Tea and scones will be available for morning tea, or bring your umbrella and picnic lunch whilst taking in the fantastic views.

Mount Lawley Heritage Walk
Date: Sunday 7 February 2010
Meeting point: NAB Forecourt, 678 Beaufort Street Mt Lawley
Time: 10.00am – 12.00pm

Join us for an interesting and informative heritage walk throughout the streets of Mt Lawley. The walk, conducted by a Heritage Architect, will cover the unique subdivision layout of the Mt Lawley Estates 1 & 2 and the magnificent streetscapes and homes that contribute to the heritage significance of this area. We will take in many landmark buildings which contribute to the unique identity of the Mount Lawley Commercial Centre and surrounding areas.
