About Summerset Festival 2010!!

The Festival will be held from 30 January to 13 February 2010, the City of Stirling’s Summerset Festival offers three jam-packed weeks of entertainment to cater for all ages and all tastes! Kicking it all off is the classic Retro Rock on Saturday 30 January. It’s time to turn back the clock and party! If you’re a fan of 50’s and 60’s style rockin’ music, whether you like to dance or just sit back and soak it up, Retro Rock is a great way to kick off the 2010 Summerset Festival! Retro Rock has a line up set to rock and roll! Debbie Gamble, hall of fame nominee Billy Blaine, rockabilly greats The Continentals and the star of the show this year is Jim Keays from Masters Apprentices. On Sunday 7 February, Jackadder Lake in Woodlands will transform into Funtopia a kids heaven packed full of games, activities, rides, amusements, workshops and delicious treats and a special performance by Yo Gabba Gabba,!! This is a kids’ event that you just can’t afford to miss. Come down to ‘At the Beach’ to experience Jon Stevens from Noiseworks in an intimate concert to wrap up the Festival. Carus Thompson will fire up the stage for this hot event at Scarborough Amphitheatre! It’s all happening on Saturday 13 February from 7pm.
