Lost and impounded dogs
The Animal Care Facility takes care of any dogs found wandering the streets. Once impounded, the Animal Care Facility will try to contact the dog's owner. This is made easier by having your dog microchipped . If your dog is impounded you should contact the Animal Care Facility as soon as possible to arrange pick up.
Dogs can be collected during opening hours only. Poundage and sustenance fees are payable and must be paid before your dog can be released.
If a dog has not been reclaimed within 7 days we will make every effort to find them a new home.
