The Hamersley golf course is open to the public 7 days a week from sunrise to sunset. Find out more about location, fees, bookings, conditions of play and other facilities on this page.
The Hamersley Golf Course is
the City of Stirling’s only public golf course.
It provides valuable recreation and social opportunities to the
community and records over 100,000 visits a year. Current facilities include an 18-hole golf
course, 8-bay driving range, pro shop and the Gleneagles Bar & Reception
The City of Stirling has been planning for a
significant upgrade of the facility – and we want your views. Whether you
currently visit the site, or might do so in the future, this is your chance to
have a say in a major upgrade to the existing facilities.
To capture your input, the City is undertaking a
detailed survey of golfers and the local community for those aged 15 years and
over. Please note this survey relates only to the golf operations and functions
centre on the site – it is separate from the proposed Aquatic Facility.
The results from the survey will contribute to the
planning for the upgrade by providing the City with valuable insights into:
How often you visit the site currently, and for what reasons;
How satisfied you are with the Hamersley Golf Course and Gleneagles Bar & Reception Centre, as they currently operate;
Whether you would get more value from the facilities if the City undertakes its proposed upgrade;
The opinion of members of the local community who do not currently utilise the facilities, but who would consider using the site in the future if improvements were made; and
The priorities people place on different aspects of the
