Regional open space master plans

The City of Stirling is committed to the good management of our regional open spaces, and has drawn up master plans to manage the reserves. Several plans have already been approved, and the Dianella plan is in draft stage and will go out for community consultation later. Find out more about the plans.

 
The City of Stirling's largest reserves, regional open spaces (ROS), are important for organised sports, informal active and passive recreation, environmental conservation and green relief to urban form. In order to manage the complex nature of these facilities and plan for their sustainable development, the City is preparing master plans for each of these reserves.

Significant funds are allocated each year to implement the recommendations of the master plans.
 
Following significant community and stakeholder consultation, the City is currently preparing the draft master plan for Dianella Regional Open Space (PDF) . Once completed and endorsed by the Council, the master plan will be released for further consultation before the final master plan is developed.
