Here you can access fact sheets, application forms and information about fees related to planning and development of private land in the City of Stirling.

 

Building Act 2011 will commence on 2 April 2012

The new Western Australian Building Act 2011 and Western Australian Building Regulations 2012 will come into operation as of 2 April 2012. There are significant changes and options to the way in which you can obtain a Building Permit (licence to build) from the City. 
 
To help provide a smooth transition, the City of Stirling has developed a system that will enable you to submit Applications for Building Permit and pay a standard prescribed fee.
 
Please ensure that all Building Permit applications are complete. Incomplete applications may result in a refusal and building permit fee forfeited.
 
In order to explain this system and also outline your options, please refer to the attached information sheet titled “The New Building Approvals System” and various checklist and Building fees and charges.
