BHP Billiton together with the City of Stirling are proud to present an opportunity for local residents to celebrate the final two days of competition of the 2008 Beijing Olympic Games. This free public event is to celebrate BHP Billiton’s sponsorship of the Beijing 2008 Olympic Games that has seen it supply the raw materials for the Olympic Games medals. 

Where

Stirling Civic Gardens will be transformed into an Olympic Games precinct where patrons will be able to cheer on their favourite athletes as they watch the live Seven Network coverage of the Olympic Games on a giant screen, while enjoying a range of community activities and giveaways.

When

The BHP Billiton Olympic Games Live Site commences at 9:00am on Saturday 23 August and Sunday 24 August 2008 and is free for the entire community.

Getting There

With the Stirling train and bus station just a few minutes walk from Stirling Civic Gardens, it is recommended that patrons utilise either of these two forms of transport and leave the car at home – you wont have to worry about parking or traffic!
