Meeting Procedures Amendment Local Law 2012

At its meeting held Tuesday, 7 February 2012 Council resolved to give state-wide and local public notice of its proposal to make the Meeting Procedures Amendment
Local Law 2012. The purpose and effect of the proposed local law are as follows:
 

Purpose

To amend the City of Stirling Meeting Procedures Local Law 2009 to reduce the number of days from at least seven (7) to at least five (5) of which a notice of motion must be submitted prior to the meeting at which it is to be moved.
 

Effect

A notice of motion will need to be submitted at least five (5) clear working days before the meeting at which the motion is to be moved.
 
An advertisement to commence state wide public notice was printed in the Weekend West on Saturday, 25 February 2012.

Submissions for this local law have closed. A report will be presented to the Resource Management Committee on 24 April 2012 for consideration of submissions received and final adoption.
