Role of the Committee
The Resource Management Committee of the City of Stirling Council deals with items from the Governance and Council Support Business Unit and Corporate Services Directorate.
The reports presented to this Committee cover topics such as:
• Human resources matters (appointment of senior staff)
• Administration (policy amendments, local laws and other governance matters)
• Finance (financial reports, adoption of budgets)
• Corporate projects.
The Committee makes a recommendation to be considered at the next Council meeting.
All Committee meetings are open to the public, who can speak on matters listed on the agenda. Doors are opened 15 minutes prior to the commencement of the meeting.

Committee members
The Resource Management Committee consists of 7 Councillors, 1 from each Ward. Each member has an appointed deputy and second deputy to act in their place should they be absent.
The Director, and other senior members of the Business Unit concerned, may attend according to the business to be discussed.
