Role of the Panel
The Heritage Advisory Panel is a forum for community input into the management and promotion of the City of Stirling's heritage. Whilst it does not have any legislative or decision-making powers, it provides advice to the Council on various heritage projects and associated issues.
The Panel was formed in 2008 to replace the City's Heritage Advisory Committee.
Panel members
The Panel consists of 9 community representatives plus City officers.
Panel members do not have a specific term and meet as and when required. When additional members are required, an advertisement will be placed in local community newspapers. Others may also be invited to attend due to their skills, knowledge and experience.
