Disability Services Advisory Panel

The Disability Services Advisory Panel of the City of Stirling Council oversees disability services matters and advises on the Access and Inclusion Plan. Find out more about the panel including members, minutes of the last meeting and agenda for the upcoming meeting.

 

Role of the Panel

The Disability Services Advisory Panel provides expert advice and guidance to City of Stirling Council and Officers in respect to disability services matters. This includes advice on the formulation, implementation and review of the City’s Access and Inclusion Plan and associated projects.
 

Panel members

The Panel is composed of representatives from organisations disability services operating within the City, and residents whom the City feels are able to contribute expertise and advice in relation to disability services issues.
 
Panel members do not have a specific term and meet as and when required. When additional members are required, an advertisement will be placed in local community newspapers. Others may also be invited to attend due to their skills, knowledge and experience.
